Don believes the founding fathers of our country created a jury system that has allowed our community and neighbors to use their common sense for over 200 years to determine what is constitutes fair compensation for injuries caused by someone's negligent acts. He believes special interest groups, like the "insurance cartel," should not be able to influence Legislators and Congressmen to pass laws to limit these inalienable constitutional rights that patriots of our country have died protecting. A person who is injured, whether physically or financially, should receive fair compensation for his injury even if a rich powerbroker or multi-billion dollar corporation has caused the injury.
